Danah is an internationally recognised authority on the ways people use network social media as a context for social interaction, who inhibits the world of online social networks, what they do there, and why. Those social networks being MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Bebo, etc

Definition of Networked Social Media: mediated environments where people can use their computer or mobile phone to connect with friends, share information, and generate content.
